Meet Marc Oso

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marc Oso. Them and their team share their story with us below:

With a unique style through powerful lyrics & vulnerable melodies, they hold no prisoners hip-hop artist Marc Oso comes born & raised out of Detroit Michigan. The underdog boy-wonder tells a relatable story to any class of people with a strong grip on their conscious. Living in the suburbs of Detroit Marc Oso brought us mixtapes such as Skye Meets Detroit, Playground, & The Numb Soul which are concepts of doing what you love when you reach your lowest point, & putting that anger & sadness into your goals.

Marc Oso’s Debut Album Skye Drive Story is a tribute to his hometown & street. A true testament to what a leader is supposed to do. Celebrating much success from Skye Drive Story’s streaming numbers with close friends & family Marc Oso made his new home in Los Angles California. Which brought us the Masterpiece collaboration album of Marc Oso & Yung Rell titled Can’t Call It. A moment of truth as both artists speak to the world of anybody who may feel broken, hated, discriminated against, misunderstood, or left out.

The album title explains itself from the words of Marc Oso. “We can’t call it why we’re not liked or why the world is so messed up, it’s out of our control. But what we can control is our actions and how we affect people.. and we want to do that with passionate music in the most powerful way.” Can’t Call It will go down in history as one of the greatest projects to come from young men out of Farmington Hills. The SKYE is not the limit for Marc Oso.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Insecurities. Feeling like I’m not good enough.. but sometimes that fuel of anger gives me the energy to keep going.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m most known for the way I structure music. I have an ear for what sounds good lyrically or melodically. I write all my material and I think I bring a more visible look at what being your true self is more than anyone else atm.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
14-hour car rides from Michigan to Mississippi, you see a lot, listen a lot, and appreciate a good road trip with the family!
