Hi Mani, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I have always found myself drawn towards the creative side of things. I spent my childhood designing jewelry, sewing, painting and finding different ways to be creative. After finishing design school, I made an abrupt decision to move to Dubai and spent four years traveling around the world.
During my time in Dubai, my love for jewelry grew. I found myself admiring middle eastern women who styled in their modest outfits with gold jewelry. I quickly became passionate and started exploring gold and diamond souks (markets).
After moving back to North America, I noticed a massive gap in the options available for gold jewelry and custom design. Back in the middle east and during my travels to many Asian countries, these options were widely available. Thus, I spotted the opportunity for modern luxury jewelry in the North American market and launched my company Kyra Fine Gold. A brand that offers luxury fine gold jewelry and also provides custom design services.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
A business faces numerous obstacles on an ongoing basis. Staring your own company, branding, creating business processes and ensuring proper execution strategies are all part of the initial challenges. One particular challenge in the early stages was placing ourselves among the other North American jewelry brands. The market is extremely saturated with mass-produced fashion jewelry. Very often, the products are marketed as “14K gold” or “solid gold” but are made from brass, stainless steel and are only gold plated. We take the approach to educate our clients on precious metals and understanding diamond quality.

We are known for providing our clients with endless opportunities. At Kyra Fine Gold, our primary focus is to create an exceptional client experience and offer unique designs. In addition, we have strayed away from traditional methods of mass production as we are committed to reduce our impact on the environment.
Our custom design journey begins with a free consultation followed by the initial sketch of the custom jewelry. We then provide true to life 3D renderings which enable our customers to visualize their jewelry. At this stage, the clients are given the opportunity to make any changes to ensure satisfaction prior to handcrafting the final piece.
We also keep up to date on new fashion trends and revisit classics to design unique ready to purchase items. Our online store has a variety of jewelry made from 14K and 18K solid gold, in addition to gold vermeil and sterling silver. There is a story behind all our jewelry. We focus on meaningful creations that are meant to last.
