Hi Lymairy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
From a very young age, I knew my purpose was to help others, especially children. This passion shaped every step of my journey. When I began studying Psychology at the University of Miami, I was immediately drawn to understanding human behavior. Graduating Magna Cum Laude was a proud moment, but it was only the beginning. My first professional experience was at a center for intensive behavior intervention, where I saw firsthand the transformative impact the right support can have on a child and their family. It was there that I truly fell in love with Applied Behavior Analysis.
Wanting to deepen my expertise, I pursued my master’s degree through Florida International University and the Florida Institute of Technology, specializing in Behavior Analysis. For almost ten years now, I’ve dedicated myself to practicing ABA and helping families build brighter futures. I’ve had the privilege of creating individualized programs for children and guiding parents through meaningful training that empowers the whole family.
BEANS was born from that same passion; my desire to create a platform that delivers top-quality ABA services to anyone seeking support. Today, I’m proud of how far we’ve come and grateful for every family that has trusted me to be part of their journey. It’s been a path shaped by purpose, dedication, and a strong belief in the potential of every child.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. Like with any new beginning, we’ve faced our share of challenges. One significant obstacle has been finding team members with the proper credentials and the passion needed to provide high-quality ABA services. This work requires specialized training and a genuine commitment to helping families, so identifying the right professionals can be difficult. Thankfully, the ABA field is growing rapidly, and every day more people are pursuing careers in ABA. This growth is essential in helping more families access the support they need; something I’m truly grateful for.
Another challenge has been ensuring families have funding options, if they lose access to their healthcare coverage. Offering different funding paths is incredibly important to us because I know just how critical consistency is in ABA therapy. Continuation of services makes a lasting difference in a child’s progress, so creating solutions for families during those difficult transitions is a priority.
We’ve also learned how essential it is to listen closely to the needs and feedback of the families we serve. Their insights help us refine our practices and ensure we’re consistently providing top-quality ABA therapy.
Every challenge we’ve encountered has been a learning experience. Each obstacle has strengthened our mission and helped shape BEANS into a more compassionate, adaptable, and effective platform for the children and families we proudly serve.

BEANS is a practice dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy throughout South Florida and Central Florida. We work with children aged 1 to 18, offering support during the most important developmental stages of their lives. Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I see the ABA field continuing to grow in positive ways. As awareness increases, more professionals are entering the field, which will help expand access to services for families. I also believe ABA will be more widely recognized for its ability to support children beyond the autism spectrum. The principles of behavior analysis can help children with a variety of behavioral, social, and emotional needs, and I expect that understanding to become much more common. We’re also moving toward more collaborative care, working alongside speech, occupational therapy, and mental health professionals to provide well-rounded support.
Overall, I’m excited about where the industry is headed. ABA is becoming more versatile, more collaborative, and more attuned to the diverse needs of families, which ultimately leads to better outcomes for the children we serve.
