Meet Louise E. Belzince of Belzince Luxury Estates

Today we’d like to introduce you to Louise E. Belzince.

Louise, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I don’t know about you but I didn’t plan on going into entrepreneurship. Creating my real estate brand was a matter of survival. About six years ago, I took a leap of faith into the real estate industry to secure my future, which made it possible for me to secure the bag.

The year 2014 was perhaps the worst year for me. In 2014, I lost my job, my apartment and eventually, I lost myself. When it was time to renew our lease and we couldn’t, I needed to find somewhere to live. This is when I reached out to a realtor to assist me in finding a new place. I had such a great experience with our realtor that I began to question more about the industry. I asked her all the questions I possibly could on real estate and without much more knowledge than that, I took a leap of faith and decided I’d join the real estate industry. I wish I could tell you that I sold a plethora of homes that year, but truth is it took me four months to sell my first piece of property but I never gave up. My son would accompany me to many client meetings and sometimes we’d get home as late as 11 PM. The late nights of studying and showings paid off. Five years later, I sold my first million- dollar property. My leap of faith opened many doors, helped build lasting relationships and helped me evolve from a realtor to a broker with my own brokerage firm.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Moving to a new home is a very exciting moment. One of my favorite memories from childhood is when I was 8 years old and my family (at the time a family of 4) and I moved from our small two bedroom/one bath apartment in Lil Haiti, Miami to a four bedroom/two bath home in North Miami. It was the first time my siblings and I had a front and back yard. We were all so very happy.
