Meet Lily Vera of La Dolce Vita Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lily Vera.

Lily, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am a first-generation Colombian-American. I studied Marketing for my undergraduate and started working for an advertising firm as the youngest account executive in Boca Raton, FL. From there, I started working for a few Fortune 500 companies and learned from the best. I finally opened my business in 2017, I chose “La Dolce Vita” because I always think life should be sweet. I have an eye for minimalistic, clean brand esthetics and I am passionate to help other businesses make the best first impression.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Business in general isn’t easy, my first initial business was an online shop, I opened this shop in 2015, it wasn’t doing well since most people weren’t keen to shopping online back then, so I closed it. A few years later, I was inspired to start a business that I found myself helping others create and monetize it. I did not have much of a portfolio, so I started doing projects pro-bono. For the first year, I educated myself, invested in the best technology and software, learned how to create better and faster while not making one dime. The second-year started like a rocket and we have been here since. Point is, don’t give up!

We’d love to hear more about your business.
We are a Branding and Consulting Media business. We primarily create digital assets like: Logo kits, Graphics, Flyers, Business Cards and Social Media Posts. We also create websites on several different platforms, anywhere from portfolios, blogs to online shops. What sets us apart is our easy going vibe and no stress process. Business is stressful enough, marketing shouldn’t be. We are known for clean, minimalistic esthetics with each and every client in mind.

What were you like growing up?
I was born in Miami but grew up in New York City. I grew up playing in the snow and not having to go to school because of blizzards. We moved down to Miami in my early teens and we stayed here ever since. I grew up watching my single mother create and run a business of her own, this is a large part of my passion for business.
