Today we’d like to introduce you to Lam Truong.
Lam, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have started doing content creating since 2014. I never thought I would be doing what I am doing today but I always have a vision of what it would have been if I did that. I started to take it more seriously during the pandemic when everyone is stuck at home and unable to do a lot of their regular routine, I started to take content creation a little more seriously. I don’t think I am where I wanted myself to be yet and everyday, I try to improve myself but it is a journey and not a sprint so I am just taking it a day at a time,
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have not been a smooth road for sure. Just like everything in life, it comes with struggles. I constantly find myself compare to others. I keep looking at my work very critically and not able to enjoy the process sometimes.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I have worked at a 9-5 job for the past 10 years and doing content creation on the side. I love the community I have via my social media and it allows me to do some of the things that I could never imagine I would. I think what makes me different from others are people usually doing one thing or the other, not both at the same time.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I think it will be a big change in the next 5-10 years as AI is being introduced and continuing impacting the trends, not just in my area but I think across everything. It is a little scary because of the unknown but I think we will have to adapt to what is coming because it is inevitable.
