Krystal and Maddy, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
We started Bambina Diaries right around the time that we found out we were both expecting little girls. It was a dream for us to share our story about becoming a mom and sharing the lives of our little ones with all our followers. The blog gives us the opportunity to share our favorite items and gives us a chance to support small businesses just like ours. It is a great feeling when you are able to share your stories and help a fellow mom in her journey. So many times we feel like we are failing as moms and its great to build a community where we can build each other up and give each other that support.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Honestly, we actually started this process as a jewelry company in the beginning. It’s never easy dealing with custom orders, but we have made it our mission to make sure to make every client happy. After a few years of running the business, we decided to rebrand and now have Bambina Diaries, where we focus on our blog but also custom and unique mommy and me pieces that we love to make not only for ourselves but for our amazing clients and their little ones. Another challenge we faced was figuring out logistics once we weren’t both living in Miami. Thankfully, we have learned how to adapt and we absolutely love the dynamics and variety we are able to give our followers living in two different cities.

Aside from our blog, Bambina Diaries specializes in custom jewelry pieces that are unique and one of a kind. For example, our nameplate can be engraved in the front and the back, unlike some other ones out there. Our pieces are specifically made for your little ones, as well as moms of all ages. The pieces range from bracelets to necklaces and earrings. We also offer our pieces in 14k gold for those clients looking to make a special piece that will last a lifetime.
We are most proud of the fact that we are unique and affordable, as well as provide the best quality we can to our clients. When we first started the mommy and me line we wanted to make it a special gift that moms can share with their daughters and we feel that makes us different than the rest. Having been born and raised in Miami, our pieces really inbody our Hispanic background. We remember seeing pictures of us as little girls and having a nameplate bracelet, necklace, and earrings. From an early age, our mothers have molded us to love what is jewelry with a personal touch. There are so many talented people we have shared and learned from. Through our blog, we have been fortunate enough to work with many of them.
