Meet Kemuel Pierre-Louis of North Miami

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kemuel Pierre-Louis

Hi Kemuel, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
To be honest, I don’t believe my story has started. I written approximately 47 different movie ideas I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve been a film director since 12 years old. And I enjoy the pursuit of one day becoming the be ranked best film director in the world. There are so many inspirational films and directors to choose from I often lose sight of my own legacy because I’m such a fan and certain works and life stories.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Film is never perfect and that’s the only bump in the road. When I begin to daydream and write a story, it never comes out exactly how I see it in my head. So taking in my god giving imagery and trying to paint an earthly canvas gets difficult and it often makes me laugh at the turnout when dealing with actors and actresses who want to jump in my on my films.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specifically remember taking on a writing assignment in the 2nd grade at my elementary school one block away from my mom’s house. We were told to write a story and I made up one and enjoyed the writing process and detailed descriptions I was able to allow my readers to imagine when reading it. I don’t know if it was as good as the great storytellers or authors of today’s generation and past greats but that’s what excites me the most. The writing process and getting my imagery on paper is what excites me when I read over it. I don’t think it’s perfect but that to me is the most important part of my job as a Film Director.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
The crisis has taught me that anything Could happen and although we cannot predict when about time ends on earth, we must plan ahead as storytellers or visual recording artist on how our precious the time it takes to make our art vs what we are able to finish before death.
