Today we’d like to introduce you to Kayla Hodges.
Hi Kayla, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My story is so long and much has happened, but to summarize. I am the oldest of seven kids. I didn’t come from much. My mom was a stay-at-home mom most of my life and my dad bought and sold cars. My family won family of the year in the Houston Chronicle growing up and shortly after, my parents divorced… shocking all of us and changed my whole life. I grew up at 13 years old… took care of my family and my mother got a job. I was anorexic and bulimic in high school, severely bullied, and was able to escape with dance. I stayed after school every day and danced for hours until I was the best on my team. Went to college for dance and got pregnant my freshman year. My dance career was over and I became a waitress. I waited tables for ten years of my life.
I also met someone new, my parents forced us to get married and found out he was a violent alcoholic. Through several near-death experiences due to physical abuse, he was arrested and I started new, broken, depressed, but new. I found a woman that looked like a muscle barbie and decided that I would compete in a body-building competition. I won my first show in 9 months and was introduced to personal development through listening to Tony Robbins and Billy Alsbrooks on the stair master. So I started personal training in the morning, went back to school for Bio chem (with a 4.o) and was waitressing at night. I had also started writing a blog named “embracing your inner badass” where I wrote about all the horrible things I had experienced in my life so far… and my client gave it to someone who was on the board of the Lamborghini Festival…this is where my life pivoted.
I became the spokesmodel for Lamborghini Festival Houston and spoke in front of thousands of people. Through this experience, I met my first mentor, who was mentored personally by Jim Rohn (Tony Robbins Mentor). I quit school, my business, and my job and started working for him in sales three days later.
In sales, I knew nothing but studied religiously daily and left running the sales meeting. After started studying NLP and became an NLP coach. I didn’t know how to sell online though… so I sold my furniture, my daughter’s furniture, shoes, perfume, purses, and all that I owned…bought a course online to teach me, packed up my car, my daughter, and my books and drove to Miami knowing absolutely no one.
I started meeting people on bumble business, eventually started hosting events, speaking at events, partied a lot, found a job, learned more, became more, and developed more…
In two years, I have become an International Speaker and the #1 Female SalesTrainer under 30.
After doing millions in coaching sales and handling event sales for giants like Alex Hormozi, Patrick Bet-David, Gary Vee, Grant Cardone, & Tony Robbins… I developed a Heart Driven Sales Methodology to help develop sales leadership. I partnered with HighTicketCoaching.com and have over $10M in client results and over 240 active clients.
My mission is to help empower women millions of women around the world by going into third-world countries and helping women escape domestically violent relationships with their kids through a whisper campaign and helping them learn the skills in order to have the life they truly want to live.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

I have partnered with Armin Shafee & highticketcoaching.com. Armin and I are building a second company that we are beta testing and are very excited about. In the meantime, I am helping with Highticketcoaching.com. We help online coaches scale and get clients. Currently, we have over 240 active clients and over $10M in client results.
We have a partnership with the Think and Grow Rich institute and have mentorship calls for our Elite clients weekly with the president. What sets us apart is our integrity. We have purchased every mastermind out there and know what works and what doesn’t. Our number one focus is developing people and helping them get results. My top focus is teaching Heart Driven Sales and removing pressured sales tactics from the industry.
Lastly, we’ve created 7 millionaires and 60+ six-figure coaches, and even a client who reached $1 Million/mo with us and we’d be honored to have the continued opportunity to impact people’s lives.
How do you define success?
Success to me is defined by growth. Someone that has the willingness to be humble and develop in every area of their life. Regardless of what has happened or what will happen, you are successful if you push through it and grow as a person.
I can tell you if a person is successful or not if you tell me their habits. Successful people are disciplined in EVERY area of their life. This is a form of self-love…not allowing themselves to be comfortable being mediocre. They have a hunger inside of them that strives to be more than who they were the day before.
Success isn’t in just a monetary form. Success shows up in all areas….parenting, fitness, nutrition, relationships, money, learning, business, etc.
