Hi Kache, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am Kache Humphrey CEO and founder of SwtpHair LLC. I started doing my hair since I was 12. Then, soon after for family and friends. I had a passion for enhancing looks with human hair and fell in love with it. After I graduated high school, I started buying hair from China for myself. My friends loved how great the quality of my hair was. Eventually, they had me selling them hair that I had at my house. So, I had an idea to keep buying extra hair just in case anyone needed any. Before I knew it, I was the girl referred to other friends to buy wigs and bundles from. This made me know, I had an eye for quality hair, and should take this niche more serious. By 2018 I started thinking of names for a hair extension business and working on a website. As my clientele grew I knew I was heading in the right direction. Now, my business is 6 years old and gaining more popularity on the daily. I am a proud hair business owner looking to keep enhancing the beauty of all the women I come in contact with.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been a bumpy ride as an entrepreneur. I have encountered quite a few obstacles, but they have all helped me grow. I am very grateful for all the lessons learned; it helps the businesses foundation more solid. I have learned to have a lot of patience with customers and allow them to voice any issues they might have to create a stronger bond with them. I am more down to earth and accept feedback as often as I can to promote premier customer service. My business loves returning customers and their referrals.
