Today we’d like to introduce you to JVNCLRK .
JVNCLRK, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Originally from Lancaster, PA, I started creating in various mediums from a young age. My start in photography quickly turned into getting in front of the camera, where I made a solid career for myself in modeling. In 2018 I got signed by my first agency in New York City, and spent 2 years traveling between New York & West Chester University, where I got a B.S. in Finance & a Minor in Accounting. During that time, I realized my true passions lied in creating & building my personal brand, JVNCLRK. As my social media following quickly grew, I decided to move to Miami, FL in 2021 to expand on my business & creative abilities.
I started my journey with acrylic on canvas, which remains a favorite, but my curiosity has led me into many forms:
pen on paper, ceramic sculptures, spray paint, yarn, moss work, fashion design, photography, styling, and modeling to name a few.
Each medium becomes a new way to explore expression, transformation, self-awareness,
and the many layers of this experience we’ve been given
A central theme you’ll find throughout my work is polarity—the balance of yin and yang—
as a reflection of life’s dualities. My pieces embody a clean yet chaotic interplay:
structure intertwined with freedom,
order disrupted by bursts of color,
simplicity countered by boldness.
The result is an aesthetic that feels both
raw and refined… a uniquely luxurious curation
This dialogue with balance is deeply personal. As a mixed individual—both black and white—
I have always lived in spaces of in-between. That perspective shapes everything I create.
Black and white anchor my story, while vibrant colors convey growth, grounding, and resilience
From 2021 to 2025, I lived and worked in Miami.
Where my practices expanded into larger dialogues with nature, chaos, and healing
My debut series,
THE PROGRESSiON COLLECTiON (2022),
invited viewers to reflect on themes of home and grounding in the midst of a chaotic society.
Works like
‘LOVE, HOME, DEATH,
PASSiON & PAiN, and CONTROLLED CHAOS
represented stages of my evolution as both a person and an artist
Afterward, I spent two years reflecting and gathering experiences.
FEELiN BLUE was born throughout 2024.
A collection that reimagines “blue” not as sadness, but as clarity, healing, peace, and resilience.
Highlights include LiL iNTRO VERT, iNFECTED, SiLVER SURFER, ANTiDOTE, and BE STiLL
Throughout 2025 I worked on creating the collection I’ll be releasing soon. I cant say much about it yet, but I can say my practices are still focused on embodying the ongoing pursuit of storytelling & balance—channeling structure and chaos for both personal and collective meaning
Excited for it to not only be seen, but also felt
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, far from it. At this point it’s too many times to count where I’ve had money & ideas stolen. Lots & lots of false promises. Times where I’ve made a lot of money in a short period of time, then go thru a dry spell where it feels like nothing is coming in.
The list goes on, those are just a few that come to mind right away, but I can definitely say this process is full of struggles for sure. & all of it takes a toll on my mental health. Especially when stacked back to back to back the ways they have been. I would say my mental has been the largest struggle throughout my life.
So I focus a lot on keeping that in the right states & seeing the lessons in them so they don’t repeat
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a visual artist. My mediums range from painting to modeling to styling to photography to creative directing to fashion design & much more. The list keeps growing honestly.
But I think that’s kind of what sets me apart & what I’m proud of. It’s all a flow. An ever evolving portfolio of aesthetics & taste. I’m into art of so many forms, so they all teach me something & bleed into one another, which is creating this overall beautiful body of work
I think I’m most known for modeling & painting currently. I would say my acrylic pour & the pattern I’ve created are probably my most recognized styles
What were you like growing up?
Smiley. Fun. Athletic. I got along with most, but outside of school, very much a loner type from middle school & on. Always into sports, basketball being my main one.
Would say I was a really good athlete & teammate for all sports tho.
Creative. Always drawing, designing, conceptualizing, into clothing & photography.
Watches & cars were another heavy interest for a while. But definitely hard working. I think sports were the start of that.
I was always looking at ways to make money. Raking leaves, shoveling snow, cutting grass, washing cars, line judge for soccer, score keeper for basketball, dishwasher, host, busser, server at restaurants. Eventually reselling shoes & clothes. Always been someone who would go out & get it really
