Today we’d like to introduce you to Johnny Martinez.
Johnny, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
For eight years of my life from the age of 13 -21, I was bound by addiction and was a drug addiction from pills to heroin, meth, crack, cocaine and more. I was homeless and did over a year of time in jail. I now am two years set free from addiction and walk in the newness of life. Its a long story but that’s how id summarize. I now do photography and cinematography and I do music and more.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Rough, from hate in my heart to drugs, ignorance and more. But im thankful that the rough parts molded me into who I am today.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Freedom, and obtaining goals set and knowing that everyday you wake up is another blessing and day to live life free.. Success, to me, is truly accomplishing the will that is destined to you. Ultimately walking in God’s will.
