Hi JM, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my career in the financial services world, built three companies, and eventually sold each one. The success looked great on paper, but what pushed me forward was something more personal. I wrote my first book, Let’s Go Win, for my wife and our two sons, never imagining it would become the foundation of an entire philosophy. That book opened the door to the work I do today: helping leaders and their companies thrive by aligning culture, mindset, and performance. Now I spend my days coaching businesses and individuals to win from within and create lives they’re actually proud of. Let’s Go Win has grown far beyond a book. It’s become a mission to inspire people everywhere to live their best lives, and I’m just getting started.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has definitely not been smooth. It has been a real journey with highs and lows like most people face. I have learned that nothing is ever as good as it looks in the moment and nothing is ever as bad as it feels in the moment. I have dealt with a business partner stealing a significant amount of money. I lost my dad in a tragic way a little over three years ago. Those moments shook me, but they also shaped me. So no, it has not been easy. But it has been one incredible ride, and every challenge pushed me to grow into the leader I am today.
