Jessenia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I picked up a camera in Architecture school and never looked back. Photography has allowed me to show others how I see the world through light and moments. It has connected me to many amazing people who share my same passion.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Having success in any business is never a straight line to the top. That’s why staying true to my vision as an artist is something I always keep a pulse on. With so many trends in the wedding industry, you can start to blend in and lose inspiration. Never stop creating for yourself.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a Miami based wedding photographer that specializes in capturing the true essence of couples in a way that feels timeless and unrehearsed. I know I can walk into any room and make people feel comfortable in front of my camera. It’s my superpower.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
Over the years, I have had many mentors that have guided me artistically and in business, along with great industry friends that have supported me. Community over competition is extremely important. But most of all, the Kolour Haus team has been there every step of the way.
