Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremiah Rivera.
Jeremiah, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started my business straight out of high school. Once I graduated, I came up with the business name “K1NG Photography”. When I was younger, I was always nicknamed “jerry the king”. The number ‘1’ stands for me being a sole proprietor. Throughout the years, I’ve connected with a lot of people to work with and try to gain more and more clients. One huge impact on the growth in my business came from working with “Fusion & co” I’ve been shooting at their events for over a year now and I have connected with so many new people.
I currently run my business and work at Lifetouch photography aswell.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
So far through my journey, I haven’t had any rough moments. Its been smooth growth!
Please tell us about your work.
I am mainly a portrait photographer. I love setting up scenes and creating visual stories for my clients. The thing I am most proud of about my business is the fact that I’ve been getting more and more inquiries from out of state.
I think what sets me apart from others is the fact that I’m very personal with my clients. Almost every client I have worked with still keeps in touch with me about personal matters.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from when I was a child was when I was in middle school. At my school, there was a shed in the back where I and my friends would sneak out to and climb on top to get to the tree that was right behind it and chill on the huge branches. We’d never get caught haha. It was a really beautiful spot! One day, I was up there with three of my best friends and we had the time of our lives, cracking jokes and just having fun.
