Hi Jason, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I have been an entrepreneur since I was about the age of 18.
Me and my team have opened and operated over a dozen businesses in the Miami area. Many of which are still open today. We take pride in our work and building and doing business in the right way.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No business is a smooth road but we are honored to have an amazing team to support us and even more amazing customers to keep our door open and lights on.
We had our store broken into when we had just opened and product stolen but we stayed consistent and were to preserve the storm. Faith and effort go a long way in business.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Our store’s brand is called La Zona we are located in Hialeah in a special little neighborhood called Seminola.
We maximize our decade of experience in the industry to keep the latest products and the best prices available to our customers. From exotic snacks to the latest vapes to hit the market our business relationships keep us one the originators and household names in the industry.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I have been known to be a risk-taker and at this point in my entrepreneurial career, I’d say my view on risk is that it is a necessary evil to achieve greatness.
The cliche saying “no risk, no reward” does carry weight. My best advice to offer with risk-taking is to be calculated. Do your homework, research, and always rethink your position before committing.
