Meet Jahson Patterson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jahson Patterson.

Hi Jahson, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My fitness journey began when I decided I was going to play football again. I played all my life (up to collegiate level), but I was going to have to get back to playing shape before I finished my eligible years.

As I trained to be the best athlete I could be, I switched my major to sports and exercise science and learned how important fitness was to the everyday individual.

I decided I would pursue a career that would keep me involved with sports so I became a trainer.

I’ve had the pleasure to work with all types of athletes, including athletes that play at the professional level.

I worked my way up to personal training director, held that position for a year, then the pandemic happened and we were all on quarantine.

I was laid off by the gym I worked at, and that’s when I had to step into the next chapter of my life. I decided I would take a chance and become an independent trainer. I put myself out there through my Instagram platform, held boot camps at first, and that turned into finding a gym I could have clients and truly be a full-time trainer.

I didn’t always believe in the vision but I had great people around me that could see it when I couldn’t.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been ups and downs along the way. I had doubts and fears that I wasn’t going to be successful, but I kept going.

I had people around me that believed in me. When pursuing a personal goal, I found that a good circle will help you stay on track.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Entrepreneur. I run my own fitness business. I offer personal training services for both in person and online clients. Currently, I specialize in general weight loss/gain body transformations. Although, I have specialized in sports performance in the past. I’m also stepping into the role of a social media influencer/ content creator.

I’m most proud of staying consistent through everything despite the opposition.

What are your plans for the future?
I plan to do a workout tour very soon actually. I’m going to visit a few different cities, partner with local influencers and have a fitness/networking event.

I can see myself getting more into commercial work. Maybe acting or modeling.
