Today we’d like to introduce you to Ida lang.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I sang and played bass in the original school of rock. A high school band started in 1972.
It wasn’t a marching band, orchestra, jazz band or chorus. Just rock, and it was excellent. The most important and meaningful years of the high schoolers.
I continued to play right up until I got married in 1990. I was asked five years ago to pull out my bass and fire it up.
AND HERE I AM. Where ever the universe takes me and my music. I am going. loving the journey
Please tell us about your art.
I don’t write music. I play by ear. I love to learn new songs.
I hope people take away HAVING A GREAT TIME watching us and feeling good.
They look like it when they sing the songs right along with us. It’s a nice feeling.
Choosing a creative or artistic path comes with many financial challenges. Any advice for those struggling to focus on their artwork due to financial concerns?
No advice.
If it’s your passion and you believe your music is good then stick with it.
You’ll regret giving up.
Anything is possible, and you can make it work you just have to be creative and resourceful regarding your passion and work.
How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
We are all over social media. Every type of social media. The band leader is great about marketing us. THEBANGOBANGO’S.COM
