Today we’d like to introduce you to Hailey Genevieve. She and her team share their story with us below:
Hailey Genevieve is a Toronto-born, internationally-published fashion stylist. Hailey has worked on Runway Shows, Commercials, Photoshoots, and Music Videos throughout North America. She currently provides styling services in the greater Miami area & beyond! While serving as an entrepreneur and stylist for many years, Hailey is known for her extensive fashion and social media knowledge. This has proven to be a valuable asset for her clients and the industry professionals she works with. Her deep understanding of the industry and what it takes to be successful in her own business gave her connections in essential areas that can help her clients build their brands. These skills allow her to complete projects promptly and efficiently, maximizing clients’ time. Her work stretches internationally, with many current clients in Florida & Ontario and others in New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Dallas. When Hailey is not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends! Hailey started social media @sparkletalk almost nine years ago. She was initially stylizing magazine-style layouts for fashion and beauty Instagram accounts. This developed into brand partnerships and vlogging behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week. With this experience, she was invited to attend shows and style photoshoots, store openings, and fashion shows. She now creates content for many of her favorite beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands. Additionally, Hailey has a keen perspective on the backend of business as a successful entrepreneur and business owner.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Being a fashion stylist is more than just putting together outfits for a client. It’s about ensuring the client is comfortable and happy, even if it means pushing their fashion limits. I started as a fashion influencer on social media before most users, and my career began as I created outfit edits and shared them with my followers. The main struggle initially was finding out what type of clients I wanted to work with and how to convert those social media posts into sales. Being a fashion stylist isn’t for the weak—it’s an uphill battle, but one that will always be worth it if you love it! We have done six magazine covers in the past three months and will go into 2023 with a January cover! Our team has also completed two music tours in New York and Los Angeles with our music clients, one being signed to Universal Music!
