Meet Gabrielle Beyer

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabrielle Beyer.

Hi Gabrielle, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Growing up, I would always help my mom, Lizzie Padro, with anything Real Estate related whether it was putting out signs for her open houses, leaving gifts at client’s doors, leaving flyers at neighbor’s homes, etc. I grew up in the Real Estate industry but never thought I would become a realtor. The day of my High School graduation from Gulliver Preparatory, I walked out to greet my family once the ceremony was over. My mom hugged me and said “You start the real estate course on Monday.” All I wanted to do was enjoy summer before “adulting” and starting at the University of Miami. Within a month I got my real estate license. At UM, I majored in Public Relations with a double minor in Broadcast Journalism and Creative Advertising all while being a licensed real estate agent. Although I loved what I studied, it wasn’t exactly my “path.” What I studied at UM has greatly helped me in my Real Estate career because I have in depth knowledge about marketing, writing, and social media. I was actively working with clients throughout my four years at UM. I’m so glad I continued on this path with my mom’s guidance. I am currently on my mom’s team, The Lizzie Padro Group, with a few other agents. We just joined Compass and are SO excited. I was previously at Coldwell Banker from June 2013-August 2021.

Besides real estate, I am also a social media manager for a few different restaurants and hotels throughout Miami. I am lucky to have a flexible schedule and make my own hours in both careers.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s never always smooth, especially in Real Estate. There are some dead times but with eight years of experience, I think I have a great amount of knowledge. I know how and where to look for new clients, I have built my sphere of influence greatly, and I know how to keep myself organized through it all. It really and truly is ALL about networking, meeting new people, and getting your name out there.

I think the biggest struggle is the fact that there are so many real estate agents out there. You just have to know how to stand out, whether it is in your marketing, the way you treat your clients or the relationship you keep with each of them. Every single one of my clients are either people I know and have known for years or people that reach out to me on social media. I have stayed in contact with all of them throughout the years — even my clients from my first two years in real estate. I have clients that reach out to me every year to help them find their next rental property. It’s important to keep a relationship and stand out because there really is so much competition

Thanks for sharing that. Can you tell us more about your work and what you are most proud of?
I think what I am most proud of is that I now have my own clients. When I first started, I would work on my mom’s smaller deals but I really have built up my sphere and work with my own clients.

I specialize in residential and commercial real estate in Miami. I have done deals as north as Coral Springs and as south as The Florida Keys. I help my clients in leasing, investing, buying and selling property

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
We are always looking for new agents to join our team or even join Compass. I have had many agents reach out to me and ask me how I started and what advice I have. I love connecting with other realtors so I encourage anyone with questions to reach out!
