As a psychologist, I’ve always believed that what we put into and around our bodies directly impacts our overall well-being. I’ve personally lived a lifestyle centered around health, wellness, eating organic, and maintaining a clean, non-toxic environment. Over time, I started becoming more aware of how many everyday beauty products contain harsh chemicals and toxins, especially within the nail industry.
That realization inspired me to pour my heart into Gloss Naturals. I wanted to enhance a space that truly reflected my values — a salon focused on clean beauty, wellness, and self-care without compromising health. Gloss Naturals is more than just a nail salon to me; it’s a brand built around creating a safer, healthier experience for clients while still delivering luxury and quality services.
I’ve always been passionate about helping people feel good both mentally and physically, and this business became a natural extension of who I am. My background in psychology has also shaped the environment we create at Gloss Naturals. I wanted clients to walk into a calming, uplifting space where they can relax, disconnect from stress, and genuinely take care of themselves.
What started as a personal passion for healthy living turned into a business that aligns completely with the way I live my life every day. Seeing people appreciate and connect with the concept of non-toxic beauty has been incredibly rewarding, and it motivates me to continue growing and educating others about cleaner alternatives in the beauty industry.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been a completely smooth road. Like any business, there were a lot of challenges and learning experiences along the way. One of the biggest struggles was representing a non-toxic concept into an industry where many people are so used to traditional products and methods. In the beginning, there was a lot of educating clients on why clean beauty and non-toxic nail care actually matter.
Even through the challenges, I always stayed connected to the reason I inherited Gloss Naturals in the first place. Seeing clients appreciate the healthier environment, the attention to detail, and the overall experience makes all the hard work worth it. Every obstacle became part of the journey and helped shape the business into what it is today.

A major focus is education. I want Gloss Naturals to be more than just a salon — I want it to be a space that helps shift the beauty industry mindset. That means continuing to educate clients and the community on the importance of non-toxic products and how everyday choices can impact long-term health and wellness.
In the future, I also see opportunities for expansion into additional locations, but only when the right systems and team are in place to maintain the same level of quality and intention. Growth for us is not about rushing; it is about building something sustainable and consistent that can be replicated without losing its integrity.
Most importantly, I’m excited to keep evolving the brand while staying true to what started it all — a commitment to clean living, elevated beauty, and creating a space where wellness and luxury naturally come together.
