Today we’d like to introduce you to Fallon.
Fallon, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Modeling has been around since I was a little girl. When I was a baby living in California, there were many opportunities in order for me to be a model, but at the time, it just wasn’t feasible. When I got older and moved to Florida, modeling was not really a thought until I was around 10-12. At that time, my mom thought it would be a good idea to go into modeling. I was tall for my age and thin, and it seemed like it would actually work. I took shots with an agency photographer and had comp cards made, but the expense coupled with the fact that at that age, I didn’t like being told what to do and I was not fully comfortable within myself, it didn’t work out.
Fast forward to 2017 and I did my first real shoot for my birthday with an amazing South Florida photographer turned close friend, McGregor LaPierre. He not only took great photos but encouraged me to take a shot at modeling for real this time. After the photos came out and I posted them, the response I got was the same, and I thought to myself, wow I should take a shot at this. Since then for the last few years, I have been on my way, taking the journey trying to break into the modeling business because I know I do this and I know I can go far.
Has it been a smooth road?
The road has not been the smoothest. I am still struggling figuring out what to do in terms of casting, agencies, and exactly what steps I need to take in order to make sure I am on the right path. Slowly but surely, I am meeting and working with people who have given my advice on what steps to take and I am very grateful for that. I am and will keep trying to make sure that I meet my modeling career goals. My overall goal is to become an editorial and runway model. I am manifesting that I will model for Savage Fenty by Rihanna who is my idol and that I will be in a music video for my favorite artist Travis Scott. Even beyond that, I am manifesting that I will be in a runway show in every single Fashion Week in the world. I am dedicated to training, growing and learning in order to do so. This is my dream.
We’d love to hear more about your work.
I am learning and growing in this business and I am proud of the confidence that I have built within myself. I see and know a lot of models in South Florida and across the country and I see them as inspiration and I take advice from them and steps they have taken and apply them to myself.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see the industry growing and expanding in big ways. Fashion trends always change, and they also always come back around. This is why I have set goals for myself in my modeling career, both big and small. The modeling is becoming more inclusive than it used to be when I was younger, Somethings are still the same but as it is changing, I can see myself becoming apart of it and being successful in it.
