Elle, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Beauty & The Board was found on the principle that food magically has a way of bringing people together, usually in an instant! Watching loved ones gather around our grazing boards has captured what I love most about my childhood- physical interaction! We live in a time and place where human interaction isn’t as commonplace as it once used to be so it’s comforting to see our grazing boards sparking just that.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being the younger sister to four older and entrepreneurial brothers, I’ve learned what it means to stay true to who I am and speak up for myself. They, along with my parents, have taught me what it means to have grit and passion. The easiest thing to do when starting your own business is to give up when things get tough so it’s important for me to always stay focused on the “WHY?” behind Beauty & The Board rather than the “WHAT?”

Beauty & The Board specializes in luxury grazing, or as we like to call them, gathering boards suitable for any event, small or large! We source premium produce, artisanal cheeses & charcuterie and delightful accouterments that are arranged into unique showcases. Each board is designed to pair flavors and elements to keep you grazing for more. We also offer seasonal boards for various holidays making our board options the perfect centerpiece for your corporate event, client gift or luxury lifestyle gathering
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I am one of eight kids so I am blessed to have many fond memories as a child. I’d have to say that being together as a family, all 10 of us was a rarity as we got older so when I think back, the happiest of times is when we were all lucky enough to be together.
