Freedom Has a Face: My Journey from Fear to Empowerment
There was a time in my life when I lived in silence — not because I didn’t have a voice, but because fear spoke louder. I was in an abusive relationship, and for a long time, I couldn’t see the way out. I kept asking myself: How do I become free again? How do I find myself when I feel so small?
I had always been independent, but when you’re trapped in fear, independence feels like a dream that belongs to someone else. What made it harder was being a single mother with a small child. I was terrified of leaving — terrified of not knowing how to survive, how to feed my child, how to rebuild my life.
But one truth kept echoing inside me: fear is normal, but it should never be stronger than your will to be free.
I realized that freedom doesn’t come to those who wait — it comes to those who decide. The moment I understood that my child’s future depended on my courage, everything shifted. Responsibility became my compass. Love became my engine. And those two forces — stronger than fear — guided me toward the light.
I didn’t have a plan, only a burning desire to stand on my own. I asked myself: What can I do? What talents do I have?
Then, one day, my daughter turned eight. I wanted to make her birthday magical, so I decided to create a balloon arch. I didn’t even have an electric pump — my two closest friends and I sat for hours, blowing up every balloon with our breath and laughter. I remember being exhausted… but also alive. That day, something awakened in me.
I discovered that I could create beauty — with my hands, my imagination, and my heart. That small act of love for my child became the seed of my new life.
Soon after, I began designing balloon and floral decorations for others. My art grew, my confidence grew, and so did my business. By 2020, I had built a brand that reflected everything I had become — strong, creative, and free.
And in 2023, when I was awarded as one of the top-rated event designers, I didn’t just see a trophy — I saw my journey. I saw the woman who once cried herself to sleep, now standing tall and creating joy for others.
Freedom, I’ve learned, is not given. It’s created — by love, by courage, and by every brave step you take when the world tells you to stay still
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
At the beginning, as I mentioned before I started with Ballooons and being the balloon decorator, then I learn to do Wedding Flowers and became one of the best florist in South Miami.
What sets me apart from other florists is my unique combination of European floral design vision and a deep commitment to personalizing every detail for each couple. I don’t just create arrangements—I create experiences by carefully listening to the bride’s vision, taking detailed notes, and ensuring that every flower reflects her style and story. With a reputation for punctuality, reliability, and going above and beyond expectations, I bring not only artistry and elegance to weddings but also peace of mind, knowing that every detail will be handled with precision and care.
