So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I moved from Venezuela to Miami when I was 22 years old, since that time I never stop working and studying. I graduated as HR back in Venezuela and Received training in the accounting field in Miami Dade College. I had the opportunity to work as a Cashier Check, Administrative Assistance, Accountant, Tax preparer, HR, and Controller. But one of my dreams was always have the opportunity to manage my time, have the opportunity to help/support others and choose who I wanted to work with. I realized that individuals, start-up and small business needed financial support but with accessible prices. After having a full-time job for 7 years in the same company, and also working part-time on my own business (during tax season) on 2016, after a layoff, I decided to focus 100% on my company and grow my own business.
It is difficult to find the right customers, and more in Miami since people don’t value our time and knowledge, but that is one of the factors that motivate me. Keeping your book is a company that will be in the near future one of the best in the USA, supporting any kind of business and most importantly without burning their budgets. We care about your Business!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Time! In my case, finding enough time to focus on my business and personal life such as being a wife and mother. I also find a lot of competition, offering low price, but bad services. It was also challenging to make the perfect balance between a competitive price and an outstanding service.
Another obstacle was to make the customer understand how important it is to have the books in order to achieve the success of the business.
