Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Matthew W Korn.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Dr. Korn. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I grew up in south Florida and attended college, medical school and residency in Florida. I wanted to give something back to the local community that has been so great to me. We opened FastCare in 2004 in Aventura Florida. Our goal was to serve the local community and provide quality care to the entire family on a timely basis. Overtime we developed strong relationships and at the communities request we opened a second location in Miami Beach, Florida in 2012.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There have definitely been some challenges along the way. The medical field is constantly changing and we have adapted to those changes through the years to provide up to date care and great service.
FastCare Urgent Care – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
FastCare is a network of Urgent Care Centers that have been serving the local community since 2004. We provide compassionate, affordable medical care and excellent customer service to all our patients and business customers 365 days a year. We provide an alternative to patients that require or seek medical services when their regular physician is not available or when injured at work. We are staffed with qualified, professional and courteous physicians and staff. Our mission is to create a value proposition by growing and expanding valuable medical services that we provide to our community, to our patients and to local physicians.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success can be measured in many ways. To me, success is making a positive difference in someone’s life and contributing to society as a whole. I have been fortunate to be in a great community and had the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives and do my part for the betterment of our great community.
