Thamires, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I realized this is what I wanted to do for a living when I was 16 years old and I was taking eyebrow shaping classes and also makeup classes in my city. During my classes doing a simple change in the face designing and shaping my friend’s eyebrows would make them so happy and excited after seeing the results, I could feel their happiness, I was seeing how a simple change outside would change them inside, how a simple change would make them feel more confident.
I so from that day, I decided that enhance people’s beauty was what I wanted to do for a living. It is a very fulfilling work for me. I am not happy until I see my clients help. From that, I have been investing and keeping updated with the newest procedures. I decided that I should have my own business.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It is not easy because we have a lot of competition in the market, a lot of expenses keeping up with the newest procedures and equipment, also a lot of studies and it is not cheap to learn from the best professionals in the area. Not even to count personal life issues that always delay us. But it is what I love to do. It is worth for me. The thing is to never give up and really focus.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about DivineDiva Spa – what should we know?
The company is specialized in Permanent Makeup procedures as Microblading, Ombré brows, Aquarelle Lips and also Eyeliner. We also work removing previous fades or bad works of permanent makeup using saline tattoo removal, which is a natural way to remove ink of the skin without going under the laser, which hurts and damages the skin. He just introduced a new facial procedure called Plasma Fibroblast Treatment. We are very excited about it!
It is the newest procedure alternative to laser, injections, or surgical therapies to tighten and improve the appearance of the skin; it also removes skin tags and improves the appearance of acne scars. It is not an invasive procedure and the results last about six years. We also offer professional classes and certifications and we have our own brand of Permanent Makeup Machine and pigmentations.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I feel like the most important part of being a successful beauty business is to be able to listen to your clients, always looking to learn and stay updated. Also, the person needs to be flexible and be able to be organized. It is not easy to run a company; it takes a lot of work and dedication. I always recommend working with what you are passionate about. I believe the good outcome and results are because we love doing what we do.
