Meet Diana Wile, LMFT of Curated Coaching and Counseling, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Wile, LMFT

Hi Diana, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
One of the proudest moments in my personal life has been creating a strong co-parenting relationship with my ex husband and the father of my children. People always ask, “How do you two get along so well?”—and the truth is, it wasn’t always easy. In all honesty, it took years of hurt, healing, and forgiveness, plus a whole lot of patience. Yet here we are, and today, we’ve got this whole modern family vibe going (just without Sofia Vergara’s charisma). We vacation together, celebrate milestones as a team, and, most importantly, show our kids what healthy relationships can look like—even after divorce. My kids tell me they’re grateful we figured it out, and honestly? I would not have it any other way.

That experience—along with many others—led me to where I am today. As a licensed psychotherapist in Florida and a certified life and health coach, I bring both my personal and professional experiences into my work. Whether it is helping a couple reconnect, guiding parents through teenage chaos, or supporting someone through grief or anxiety, I’m here for it. My clients often say that therapy with me feels safe, warm, and nonjudgmental, and honestly, that’s the biggest compliment I could ever receive. Everyone deserves a space where they can be real, work through the tough stuff, and rediscover their hope.

My job feels like I’m a “hope healer.” Because at the end of the day, hope moves mountains! Within ourselves, within the people who put up with us, and within the ones we get to deal with (notice how I said get to).

So, here I am—part therapist, part cheerleader, part honorary abuelita reminding you to take care of yourself. And if you’re wondering whether therapy is right for you, just know this: change might be hard, but it’s also the most rewarding thing you’ll ever do. And, as we say in Miami, dale, let’s make it happen!

Pa’ adelante y pa’ atrás ni pa’ coger impulso. (Cue your favorite Pitbull or Karol G song. 🎶)

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all—but I wouldn’t change a thing. My journey has been shaped by the generational trauma of my Colombian roots and the challenges of growing up with a single mother who was navigating her own struggles. Needless to say, I had to figure out a lot on my own, but in doing so, I gained resilience, self-awareness, and ultimately, the ability to both forgive and embrace the past for shaping the person I’ve become. These experiences don’t just inform my work as a family therapist, they remind me that healing is deeply personal and profoundly human.

Today, I’m a doctoral student at the Kiran Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine at NSU, working toward becoming an expert in couple and family therapy. Balancing the demands of a private practice, parenting, co-parenting, and the unpredictability of life, all while pursuing a doctorate, is anything but easy. Yet, every challenge reinforces what I know to be true: growth is possible, transformation is real, and no one’s path is entirely smooth.

Regardless of where we come from—whether it’s Fisher Island next to Jeff Bezos, Shakira or Tom Brady or the heart of Hialeah, Calle Ocho or Opa Locka, relationships shape us all. We may experience struggles in different ways, but they leave an imprint on all of us for better or worse. The beauty of therapy is that change is always within reach, if we have the courage to seek it.

That is what drives my passion for this work, helping clients recognize their own capacity for transformation. By simply asking the right questions, I get to plant a seed, one that often flourishes in ways they never expected. Watching clients tap into their own inner magic, their hope, and witnessing that hope unfold into real, lasting change is one of the greatest privileges of my career.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?

What Sets Us Apart:
Just as the word “curated” suggests, we tailor each therapeutic experience to meet the unique needs of every client. Therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all process—it’s deeply personal. Whether you’re navigating parenting in the digital age, overcoming relationship struggles, managing anxiety or depression, or blending families, we take a compassionate, holistic, and culturally sensitive approach to help you see the bigger picture. We don’t just address symptoms; we explore the deeper patterns shaped by family dynamics, cultural influences, and life experiences—helping you understand why everything makes sense in context.

What truly sets us apart is our deeply humanized and collaborative approach. Clients often describe our work together as “unique” and “transformative” because sessions go beyond textbook solutions—we craft strategies that feel authentic to you. My work is informed not only by my expertise as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Life Coach, but also by my own lived experiences—navigating divorce, co-parenting, blending families, and rediscovering myself after loss. This allows me to connect with my clients on a profoundly personal level, creating an atmosphere of trust, understanding, and meaningful progress.

What We Want Readers to Know:

If there’s one thing I want people to take away from our work, it’s this: You are not alone, and change is always possible. At Curated Coaching and Counseling, we honor your story and meet you exactly where you are—ready to help you create the life and relationships you deserve.

So, let’s work together to rewrite your narrative—one session at a time.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is the power of intentionality—both in healing and in living. Growth doesn’t happen by accident; it requires a conscious decision to face discomfort, reflect deeply, and take deliberate steps toward the life you want to create. Life has presented its fair share of challenges, from navigating the complexities of being a first-generation Colombian American to rebuilding after divorce, co-parenting, and blending families. But through it all, I’ve realized that transformation isn’t about waiting for things to get better—it’s about showing up for yourself, even when it’s hard.

Another key lesson is the importance of the relationship with ourselves! Why? Well, because the connection you build with yourself shapes every other relationship in your life. At my lowest points, it wasn’t external circumstances that transformed me, but the internal work of rebuilding my confidence, self-worth, sense of purpose and a deep connection to myself. That’s a lesson I carry with me in my work every day, helping clients discover their own inner strength and agency.

Forgiveness has also been a profound lesson—one that often surprises people. True forgiveness isn’t about excusing the past or absolving others; it is a gift we give ourselves. It is an act of liberation, a way to release the weight of pain so that it no longer defines us.

Finally, I have learned that healing is rarely linear. It is messy, complex, and full of unexpected detours. However, in both my own life and in my work with clients, I’ve come to appreciate that the process of hurt, forgiveness, and growth is what makes us human. It is also what allows us to connect more deeply—with others and, most importantly, with ourselves.

In short, my journey has taught me that intentionality, self-compassion, and patience are everything! When we show up for ourselves, even in the smallest ways, we create space for meaningful, lasting change. And that’s where the real transformation begins.
