Meet Dhaima Lindo of Health 2 Go, LLC / DBA Health It

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dhaima Lindo.

Hi Dhaima, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
In my late twenties, I was diagnosed with ovarian and uterine cancer, a moment that completely altered the trajectory of my life. What followed were chemotherapy treatments, multiple surgeries, and a level of physical pain and uncertainty that forced me to slow down and reevaluate everything I thought I knew about health, healing, and my own body.

As I navigated treatment, I received conflicting opinions from Western doctors, and while I was grateful for life-saving care, I felt there had to be more I could do to support my healing. That curiosity led me to holistic practitioners and into the world of natural medicine, where I began studying herbs, nutrients, and healing modalities with the same seriousness I had once reserved for conventional treatment plans.

What started as a deeply personal search for relief and balance became transformative. Not only did my own health improve, but friends and family began noticing the changes and asking for guidance. Before I realized it, I was sharing remedies, protocols, and insights with people who were struggling with their own health challenges.

At the same time, I was balancing a demanding life and needed solutions that were realistic, consistent, and effective. I became deeply intentional about the purity, potency, and purpose of every ingredient I used. I didn’t want fillers, shortcuts, or overcrowded formulas. I wanted results people could actually feel.

That intention became the foundation of Health It. The brand was born not from a business idea, but from lived experience, resilience, and a commitment to making natural, effective health solutions accessible to people who want to feel better without compromising integrity. Health It is a reflection of my belief that healing should be both powerful and practical, and that when done right, less truly is more.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all. The journey has been anything but smooth, and in many ways, that’s what shaped both me and Health It.

Beyond the physical challenges of cancer treatment and recovery, one of the greatest struggles was learning to trust my own discernment. I was often navigating conflicting medical opinions, limited answers, and a healthcare system that wasn’t always designed to support whole-body healing. That required me to become deeply educated, patient, and self-advocating during a time when I was already vulnerable.

As Health It began to take shape, another challenge was maintaining integrity in an industry that often prioritizes speed, trends, and marketing over true efficacy. Choosing purity, potency, and research-backed formulations meant slower growth, higher costs, and saying no to shortcuts that could have made things easier in the short term but compromised results.

There were also personal challenges, balancing recovery, leadership, and the emotional weight of being the face of a brand rooted in lived experience. Building something meaningful while honoring my own health required boundaries, resilience, and a willingness to grow alongside the business.

Ultimately, those struggles became the foundation of Health It. They taught me that real wellness, like real success, isn’t built quickly or effortlessly, but intentionally, with care, clarity, and commitment.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Health It is a results-driven natural wellness brand built on integrity, education, and lived experience. We specialize in clean, thoughtfully formulated supplements designed to support real, felt results rather than quick fixes or wellness trends.

What sets Health It apart is our philosophy that less is more when done with precision. Every product is intentionally formulated so that each ingredient serves a clear purpose, at an effective dose, without fillers, additives, or unnecessary overcrowding. We don’t chase trends or overload formulas for marketing appeal. Instead, we focus on synergy, absorption, and outcomes people can actually feel.

Our products are organic or wild-crafted whenever possible, non-GMO, vegan, and cruelty-free, and each formulation is created to support specific systems in the body, from hormones and metabolism to energy, cognition, and immune health. Health It is known for being a brand people trust, not just because of what’s on the label, but because of how the products perform over time.

What I’m most proud of is that Health It has grown organically through word-of-mouth and repeat customers who feel the difference. The brand was never built to be flashy or loud. It was built to be reliable, effective, and honest, especially for people who have tried “everything” and are still looking for real support.

What I want readers to know is that Health It isn’t about perfection or extremes. It’s about empowering people with clean, effective tools that fit into real life. We see ourselves as a long-term health partner, not a one-time purchase. Our goal is to help people feel better, stronger, and more supported in their bodies, with products rooted in science, nature, and integrity.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was naturally studious, curious, and deeply people-oriented. I genuinely loved school, so much so that I turned learning into something communal. I would teach children in my neighborhood what I was learning, and my father even built a small schoolhouse in our backyard where I held weekend classes. I used my allowance to buy books, chairs, and chalk, and treated it like a real classroom. Even then, I found joy in sharing knowledge and creating environments where others could learn and feel included.

I was also generous by nature. If I bought something for myself, I wanted my friends to have it too. My father used to take us to beautiful hotels and restaurants, and I would invite my friends along. They would arrive dressed in their best church clothes, and my father would smile and say, “You always bring your friends everywhere you go.” That instinct to include others has always been a part of who I am.

I grew up in Jamaica surrounded by nature and beauty. We had exotic birds at home and even a pet goat, which felt completely normal to me at the time. I spent a lot of time outdoors, traveling with my father, visiting waterfalls, and being exposed early to culture, responsibility, and leadership. I often accompanied him to meetings and was encouraged to observe, ask questions, and think independently.

Personality-wise, I was kind, confident, and independent, with a quick wit. I was known for sharp, clever responses and was even voted “most witty” in my yearbook, which reflected my comfort expressing myself and engaging people thoughtfully from a young age.

When my parents passed away when I was twelve, my life changed dramatically. I moved to the United States and experienced a stark shift in circumstances. What didn’t change was my love of learning. School became something steady and grounding for me during a time when everything else felt uncertain.

Dance was another constant. I enjoyed being on my school dance team, and that passion followed me into adulthood, eventually opening doors to professional opportunities, including dancing with the Miami Heat. Dance taught me discipline, presence, and teamwork, qualities that continue to shape me today.

I never felt the need to belong to a single clique. I chose people based on character rather than popularity, which sometimes made me hard to categorize. Looking back, I see a clear through-line. I’ve always been someone who leads quietly, includes others instinctively, nd follows her own inner compass, even when the path wasn’t always easy.
