Meet Denise Righetti of Savor Our City in Boca Raton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Denise Righetti.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Growing up in Miami as a young girl, I used to dream about traveling to far away exotic destinations each time we would pass all the cruise ships lined up along the way to visit Grandma in Miami Beach. Fast forward to the future. I got my very first job working aboard Royal Caribbean ships where I had the opportunity to, travel and meet people from all around the world. I became fascinated with learning about the different cultures represented through their cuisines. Fast forward to today: I created Savor Our City as a way to bring like-minded food & wine enthusiasts together to enjoy unique culinary experiences in each of the cities we operate.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
After operating SOC for 3 years, we identified the areas that were the most lucrative to growing & sustaining the business and discovered that our business model had to change to reflect this and so we are in the midst of rebranding & launching a new website coming out 4th Qtr. 2017.
