Meet Delores Williams of Kendall/Pinecrest

Today we’d like to introduce you to Delores Williams.

Hi Delores, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey in real estate began early—at just 13, I was helping my family process mortgage paperwork, which sparked a lifelong passion. By 20, I was working as a real estate paralegal at a top law firm, gaining invaluable legal and transactional experience.

Over the years, I transitioned into full-time real estate, and today, I’m proud to be a Broker Associate with Delphi Investment Realty, one of South Florida’s leading firms. With more than 30 years in the industry, I’ve built a reputation for delivering expert guidance, personalized service, and unwavering dedication to my clients—whether they’re buying, selling, investing, or renting, locally or internationally.

Living and working in Miami has been a privilege and my commitment remains the same: to make real estate a rewarding, stress-free experience for every client I serve.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not Always a Smooth Road – But Always Worth It

Like any meaningful journey, my path in real estate hasn’t always been smooth. Early on, I had to prove myself in a competitive, fast-paced industry while balancing the demands of work and personal growth. Navigating market fluctuations, changing regulations and economic downturns has also tested my resilience.

But every challenge sharpened my skills and deepened my commitment. The obstacles taught me to adapt, stay focused and always prioritize my clients’ needs. Those tough moments weren’t setbacks—they were stepping stones to the strong, trusted professional I am today.

What truly sets me apart is the depth of experience I bring to the table. With over 30 years in the real estate industry—starting from mortgage processing as a teen, to working as a real estate paralegal, and now serving as a Broker Associate—I’ve seen nearly every side of the business.

I approach every client relationship with integrity, professionalism and a personal touch. My goal isn’t just to close deals—it’s to build trust and long-term relationships. I also bring a global perspective to my work, helping clients navigate both local and international markets with ease.

Real estate isn’t just my career—it’s my calling and I treat every transaction as if it were my own.

Favorite Books That Inspire Me

Some of my favorite books have helped shape both my mindset and my approach to business and life. A few that stand out are:

“The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen R. Covey – This classic taught me the value of proactive thinking, clear goals, and integrity-driven leadership.

“Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill – A powerful reminder that success starts with mindset and vision.

“Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki – Great insights on building wealth through smart investments—something I share with my clients daily.

“The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho – A beautiful story about following your dreams and trusting your journey, which has always resonated with me.

Each of these books has inspired me to stay focused, stay true to my purpose, and always keep learning.
