Meet David Santangelo of ACE Home Team @ Keller Williams Luxury Homes

Today we’d like to introduce you to David Santangelo.

David, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
David has owned and operated two separate marketing companies over the last 15 years and has worked with high profile clients such as Verizon Wireless, the National Basketball Association (N.B.A.), Molson U.S.A. and the 2007 World Champion Indianapolis Colts to name a few. He has also sold Millions of Dollars of Real Estate in Palm Beach and Broward Counties over the last decade and has survived and thrived through all market conditions.

A graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, David has been a Florida resident since 1985 and currently resides in Palm Beach County.

David is a Member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. He has also earned several designations during his career, which include Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (C.L.H.M.S.), Million Dollar Guild, Certified Distressed Property Expert (C.D.P.E.), Internet Marketing Specialist Designation (I.M.S.D.) and Broker Associate Designation.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In 2006 the real estate market crashed. Many companies and agents went out of business. I focused on short sales to survive, and once the real estate market started to turn around in 2009-10 we were able to grow our Team and increase our sale volume, while always keeping our focus on the highest level of customer service possible. Today we have a Team of 6 people and are looking to expand into numerous markets throughout the State of Florida and beyond.

Please tell us about ACE Home Team @ Keller Williams Luxury Homes.
We specialize in mid-level Luxury properties. We are known for high-level marketing which includes the highest level of digital photography, drone photography, and marketing pieces aimed to “wow” potential Buyers. We keep a steady line of communication with our Sellers and price their properties based on an extensive amount of research. We try to guide our customers with an honest approach throughout the sales process. When pricing a home, we inform our clients that our job is to get them the highest price and best terms possible, while pricing it according to fair market value. We do not want their property to get “stale” in the market with an unrealistic price attached to the property. Our goal is 100 satisfaction during the entire selling process, which is very difficult to achieve.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I have way too many great memories, and I feel so blessed to have grown up in the same neighborhood in Rhode Island for my entire childhood and beyond. I have a great family with parents married over 65 years, my Dad is a decorated WW II Veteran that served on the front lines and marched through Italy, France and Germany to serve our country. I also have 2 brothers and 1 sister, all very successful in their lives.

If I had to pick one great memory I would have to say it was playing baseball and other sports as a kid with no worries and just having fun with my friends. Sometimes the simple things make you most happy!
