Meet David Carmona, Rebecca Carmona of The Carmona Group in Palmetto Bay

Today we’d like to introduce you to David Carmona, Rebecca Carmona.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
David started as a Loan Officer in 2003 and obtained his real estate license in 2010.

Rebecca obtained her real estate license in 2004 while living in Orlando, FL.

Rebecca and I met in 2009 and started working together shortly thereafter. In the midst of the market crash and the housing collapse, we aggressively began targeting the rental market since there was so much economic turmoil. We quickly turned it into a niche for ourselves closing 10 transactions a month on average thanks to our marketing expertise and the consistent influx of people moving to Miami.

As time went on we nurtured our past clients and created a large buyer pipeline through systems and models that we created and implemented. By 2012 more than half of our business was working with buyers and sellers which exponentially grew over the years. These days we primarily work with sellers and buyers but still actively help renters when the opportunity presents itself.

The primary goal for us since Day 1 was to always look out for our client’s best interests. We think of every client as a friend and look to build relationships with them that will last a lifetime.

Has it been a smooth road?
Definitely not. Real Estate has its ups and downs but we’ve learned that through faith and hard work everything always pans out.

When we first started it was a struggle whenever a big deal fell apart. It would hit us hard psychologically and of course financially. However, Rebecca developed a mindset where we both believed that whenever we lost a deal it only meant that God was going to send us 2 more in return.

We adopted this blind faith in our business and it has helped us tremendously over the years.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with The Carmona Group – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
The Carmona Group was established in 2014 and primarily helps sellers and buyers with their real estate needs. We also assist investors and renters with both residential and commercial transactions. In 2017 we joined forces with Keller Williams Capital Realty to give our client’s the ultimate real estate experience.

We specialize in residential sales in the areas of Palmetto Bay, Cutler Bay, Kendall, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove and Brickell.

We are known for our marketing, knowledge and customer service and are proud to say that we have over 150 Five Star Reviews online from past clients that we’ve had the pleasure of helping.

The large majority of our business comes from past clients and our sphere of influence which is a direct reflection of who we are and what we offer.

What separates us from the competition first and foremost is how we treat our clients. We are constantly putting their best interests ahead of everything else and looking over their money as if it was our own. Technology also plays a vital role in our business. We offer Matterport 3D Tours, 4k HD interior and drone videos, high end photography, floor plans, single property websites and much more on all of our listings. We’re also very tough negotiators because in the end we don’t want to just satisfy our clients, we want to exceed their expectations.

Over the years our business model has always centered around delivering an amazing experience with proven results through our customer service, knowledge and marketing expertise. This coupled with our passion for real estate and technology has set us apart from the rest of the pack.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
There’s so much to love! We love the weather, the beaches and the fact that Miami is a melting pot of different people and cultures. There’s so much to see and to do, it just never gets old.

I would say what we like least is the traffic. There’s nothing funner then explaining to your out of town client that its totally normal for people to honk at you the moment the light turns green.
