Danielle, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Hello, being a single mother of three and a lover of travel, I wanted to be able to show my children the world. I stop having big birthday parties for them and started taking more trips. I would look for all the deals and discounts I could find. One day on social media I saw an ad about becoming an Independent Travel Agent. So, January 1, 2018, I decided to step out on faith and give it a try. Initially, I started my business just to benefit from all the Travel Perks. Until I saw how much money I was missing out on from booking travel for my family and friends.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t always been a smooth ride. Not only am I a Travel Agent, but I’m also a Travel Business Coach helping other people start their own travel business. I currently have a team of over 300 agents mostly here in Miami but some in other parts of the country. The biggest obstacle with having such a big team is getting everyone on one accord and working as a team.

I am the Travel Plug. I specialize in exclusive vacations and vacation deals to All-Inclusive Islands, Thailand, Bali, Hawaii and every destination you could think of.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Going to Paris for my 11th birthday.
