I’ve been living in Boca Raton for the past 6 years after growing up in beautiful Miami most of my life. I went to Florida State University, where I double majored in Marketing and Multinational Business Operations. I now have two beautiful daughters enjoying preschool and kindergarten.
I worked at a prestigious luxury company for 12 years, where I managed different territories throughout my tenure. I practically lived out of my suitcase during that time. When my 1st daughter was born, I decided to devote 100% of my time to her and when I was ready to go back to work, I wanted something I could call my own.
To me it was the perfect marriage. Wine and photos. I was tired of seeing the boring wicker basket and I was tired of getting “fillers” that I was never going to eat. Really, the only exciting thing about getting a gift basket was the wine itself. So, I began my quest to offer the most unique and modern wine gifts.
I wanted our wine gifts to make a connection with the person receiving it, as well as the person sending it. With Facebook and Instagram very present in today’s society, people have become great photographers! So, I decided to introduce an age-old gifting tradition with the photo crazed era that we live in today.
It’s an era where all of our photos live on our mobile devices, laptops and tablets. So, why not find a neat way to use them, to expose them, to make them real and tangible and better yet, “show” them to someone who would really love and appreciate them.
Has it been a smooth road?
I started the Wine Box Creations a little before my second child was born. So, juggling two kids and a newly started business was definitely not an easy road. I am forever trying to find a good balance of being an entrepreneur, mother and wife. Fortunately, we have great family support all around us and my husband is my biggest supporter. As we enter our 3rd year in business we are pleased with how far we’ve come and grateful for all of our Wine Box followers.
