Hi Daniel, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2015, my friends—Mike, Brandon, Jon, and I—had a passion for sneakers so we decided we wanted to open a luxury sneaker store. We pooled our savings $7,000 to be exact and our passion for sneakers, and thus, “Sneak Peek Luxury” was born in North Miami Beach. Our store quickly gained a reputation for housing the most exclusive kicks, including the elusive Nike Red Octobers, Yeezys, and the iconic Nike Mags from “Back to the Future.”
In 2017, we decided to take things up a notch and moved our beloved store to downtown Miami. The move was a game-changer, and our collection expanded to include the hottest releases, with the Supreme x Louis Vuitton collaboration being a standout moment in our journey.
Then came 2020, and with it, the unforeseen challenges of a global pandemic. The world slowed down, and so did our momentum. It was during this time that we, as friends and business partners, decided to part ways amicably. I found myself at the helm of Sneak Peek Luxury just a week before the lockdown.
Taking over a business amid a pandemic wasn’t easy. Our store, once bustling with sneaker enthusiasts, faced the brunt of the lockdown—looting and damage. Yet, with determination and a loyal employees, Carter, Fetti we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. Rebuilding Sneak Peek Luxury wasn’t just about restoring a physical space; it was about preserving the spirit of a dream and the loyalty to the culture we had collectively pursued.
As the world slowly emerged from the grip of the pandemic, Miami became a vibrant hotspot once again. Sneaker culture thrived, and so did Sneak Peek Luxury. Our shelves expanded to showcase over 200 styles, and we diversified with apparel and accessories. The store became a symbol of resilience and adaptability, echoing the journey we had taken from a small store in North Miami Beach to a recognized name in the heart of downtown Miami.
Today, Sneak Peek Luxury stands not just as a sneaker store but as a testament to the enduring spirit of its founders. My friends and I may have taken different paths, but our bond remains unbroken. In the bustling streets of Miami, our store has become a symbol of not just luxury sneakers but of perseverance, friendship, and the unwavering belief that dreams, no matter the challenges, are always worth pursuing.
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There are always challenges in business. Fashion trends are constantly changing, so we have to make sure we are up to date with the latest styles and brands. Nike over the years has flooded the market with inventory that used to have a high demand.
In those moments we have to readjust and focus on styles that are more exclusive, such as collaborations. For example, we were always well known for having all of the latest Yeezy styles and there can be situations such as Kanye West ruining his reputation and destroying the market value of his sneakers. We have had our ups and downs but we always bounce back.

Between selling watches in college and becoming a realtor with One Sotheby’s, I have seen a multitude of instances where luck played a role.
Between surviving covid and the dip we saw with covid to the riots and looting that happened downtown and around the store we were lucky to still even have a building that was usable and never got directly affected by any of those issues
