Today we’d like to introduce you to Claudia Sanz.
Hi Claudia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Studied bussiness in Colombia, then Marketing in FIU and after i joined IFAc international fine arts college because i always loved fashion, i started working a few months with silvia tcherassi , then a year with Diane Von furstenberg and then decided to create my own line … after the ups and downs of production decided to open a retail in front of where now is Mary Brickell .. it was a cool art gallery and luxury brands concept .. but after recession it was to costly ..
I decided to focus in a more curated and affordable approach and that is how we are growing our brand Green grass with a fresh trendy concept for a modern women that can find very versatile wardrobe for a day to day and every event
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There are always obstacles…
The high rents was one but it helped us to grow in our social media and engage with our community from a nice and cozy showroom, it has shaped us into a new concept that is more personalized and far from high traffic malla into a more peaceful atmosphere where each piece is carefully curated
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Our Green Grass style concept is a very curated collection for trendy classy women that have many events throughout the day in which our collections are versatile to carry those women from day to night in a very comfortable and fashionable way
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Looking at fashion magazines in my grand mothers atelier she was a very good seamstress and designed clothes for me
