Meet Cindy Hing of Fort Lauderdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cindy Hing.

Hi Cindy, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Jetsetter Films was founded from our passion for storytelling, travel, and showcasing the people and places that make destinations unique. After years of producing lifestyle and travel television, I wanted to create content that not only entertained viewers but also supported local businesses and tourism.

Today, Jetsetter Films is an award-winning production company behind Day Tripping in The Palm Beaches, Fest Quest of The Palm Beaches and Land of Mermaids. Our mission is to tell authentic stories, inspire people to explore, and shine a spotlight on the incredible communities and businesses that make every destination special.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like any business, it hasn’t always been a smooth road. Building a production company comes with challenges, from securing funding and managing production schedules to adapting to changes in the television and media industry. Producing a high-quality travel series also requires coordinating countless moving parts, including locations, sponsors, and production logistics. Those challenges have made us stronger, more creative, and more determined to continue producing content that audiences enjoy and that positively impacts the communities we feature.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a storyteller, producer, and entrepreneur specializing in travel and lifestyle media that highlights authentic local experiences. As co-owner of Jetsetter Films alongside Sergio Figuera, I executive produce and host the award-winning series Day Tripping in The Palm Beaches and Fest Quest of The Palm Beaches, inspiring audiences to explore Palm Beach County while supporting local businesses and culture.

I’m most proud of the impact our work has had on the community and the recognition it has received through multiple Davey and Telly Awards. What sets me apart is my ability to combine creative storytelling with strategic production to create content that informs, inspires, and connects people.

What does success mean to you?
I define success by the positive impact my work has on others. For me, it’s about creating stories that inspire people to explore, support local communities, and see destinations in a new way. Success also means continuously growing, building meaningful relationships, and doing work I’m passionate about while making a difference. Awards are rewarding, but knowing our content connects with audiences and benefits the community is what I value most.
