Today we’d like to introduce you to Christine Posso.
Hi Christine, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
My insurance career began when my daughter was born in 2015. Coming from a sales background and always doing well within the field, I searched for a career in sales that allowed me a work-life balance so that I had an opportunity to present in my child’s life.
I started my insurance career in Atlanta, Georgia in 2016 and have diligently worked my way up since then. I always had dreams of being a self-employed Entrepreneur. And I have had the honor to be mentored/coached by some of the most Talented Insurance Sales Agency Owners.
During my time tenure in Georgia, I experienced working alongside Agents who were in the same position I am in today. Building an Agency from Scratch. I was able to observe and see what worked, and what did not work in terms of Marketing and lead generation. I knew I wanted to be in their position, but do something different. I wanted to change the way people viewed, accessed, and purchased Insurance.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I think because of my 7-year experience, things have been a lot easier than I anticipated. I was lucky enough to be able to gather a little bit of everything I experienced with all of the Agents who I met throughout my time in Georgia, before owning my own Agency. I learned what worked for me as an individual business owner and I’ve been able to grow in a way that works for me as an active parent as well.
Starting a business is a lot of work in general. A lot of energy, time, and intention is necessary to thrive. But I love what I do, the people I work with, and the fact that we’re able to help individuals purchase a home because home insurance is such a necessary factor in the new home purchase process. I would not trade it for the world. I feel like I’m walking in my purpose.
We’ve been impressed with Christine Posso Goosehead Insurance Agency, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Christine Posso Goosehead is a Florida-based Insurance Agency that serves the entire State of Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and additional States in Partnership. We focus primarily on assisting the Real Estate industry and specialize in helping lenders and realtors find homeowners insurance in what is a difficult market to do so in Florida, for their Clients. Christine Posso Goosehead has access to over 40+ Insurance Carriers.
We also carry renters insurance, auto insurance, motorcycle insurance, boat insurance, life insurance, pet insurance products, and additional products. Our Agency works with some of the most talented lenders and realtors in the real estate industry. And we take pride in being able to help new homeowners find affordable, easily accessible homeowners insurance policies with good coverage.
What matters most to you? Why?
When I read that question, my daughter was the first thing that came to mind. But that is such a general statement. Love is so universal and has so many meanings. I think what matters to me the most is being someone who exudes positivity and love. That helps others. Someone who I would want my daughter to reflect.
Internally, I know that what my business is doing is far more than selling an Insurance product. We’re helping people, helping other people purchase homes with a product that is extremely difficult to find (especially in Florida), and begin their path to building wealth. I think that that is what has been the most meaningful thing about the start of this Agency and what I’ve created.
