Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Price.
Christina, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have always loved making things with my hands. As a child and even through college, I would make Christmas presents for my friends and family. Anything from lip balms to bath salts to beard oils. I realized how much fun I had while doing these things and always dreamt of someday having my own shop. The idea of Roma Luxury Goods was born out of my frustration with the hoards of candles and home goods products filled with toxic chemicals and irritating ingredients.
After many frustrating experiences, I decided to do something about it. With a passion for self-care and wellness and a desire to see more wholesome ingredients and products within the aromatherapy and self-care space, I decided to launch my own line of self-care and home goods products. Each of the products that I make through Roma Luxury Goods are 100% plant-based, ensuring you are getting the highest and purest quality of ingredients. Nestled in the beautifully warm and creative city of Sarasota, Florida, Roma Luxury Goods is on a mission to restore wholeness and wellness to people everywhere.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There have definitely many learning experiences! Becoming a business owner and being a young entrepreneur has made me step outside of my comfort zone more than I thought possible. It has challenged me and pushed me, but it has also brought out sides of myself that I didn’t know were there; sides of creativity and innovation.
Please tell us about your business.
We create 100% natural self-care products and home goods, such as candles, linen sprays and roll-on blends. Our most popular product is the Hemp Wick Candle. Not only is it all-natural, but it’s even vegan! We source our Hemp Wicks ethically through a small vegan business in Hawaii. In addition to our signature line of products, we also work with companies to develop unique scents for their brand, based upon their marketing strategy.
I am so proud of how sustainable Roma’s mission is. For every order you place, Roma plants one tree in Florida on your behalf. We do this by partnering with One Tree Planted to help rebuild our forests’ natural resources. All of our packaging’s can be recycled (and most was in its past life!), our boxes and tape can be thrown in your recycling bin,` and our packing peanuts are 100% biodegradable so you can add them to your compost pile! We strive to be extremely intentional with the way that we respect the earth’s beauty. All of our products are all-natural and vegan, and our packaging can even be reused in many different ways around your home to avoid waste.

First and foremost, I need to thank my husband, Nathan Price. Roma was a dream that I didn’t know I was capable of achieving. He has pushed me and challenged me more than anyone else, but also encouraged me and held my hand each step of the way. I can honestly say that I couldn’t have launched Roma without my community of family and friends. There are countless long and hard days, days when you want to throw in the towel. In those moments, the community I have sets me back on track. Thank you to each and every person who has supported Roma’s launch. Each “like”, each “share”, each order, each attendee at events. Roma wouldn’t be successful without everyone’s support and I am beyond grateful.
