Hi Christian, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I arrived to Miami back in 2010 as a dancer to work on TV Shows for Univison Channel such as “Mira Quien Baila”, “Sábado Gigante”, “Premios lo Nuestro”, “Premios Juventud” and “Despierta America”. And at that time, it’s when I got into the Hair Replacement world. At this time of my career, I decided to wear a hair system and during all these years as professional dancer I tried out different looks, haircuts, and styles and it made me more interested in the hair restoration industry for younger man looking for a more modern options. I started to study and practice younger tendencies and new Barbering techniques, my career as a hair replacement specialist started towards 2017 and that’s when I get my nickname “Tiago” and my New Concept “Procapilar” was formed. In 2018 I worked as a Barber during a year at a hair replacement Center and during this time I got to improve and develop my technique and methodology to polish my concept “Procapilar… the evolution of barbering” the following year my wife and I opened our own studio in Doral; based on the traditional hair system technique I created the juvenile tendency along with barbering techniques directed to younger man that suffer from hair loss problems giving them back their confidence with natural looks and styles. The work that made me more popular along the younger crowd was the perfect front hairlines with the Procapilar modern haircuts that attract clients between the ages of 24 and 45 years old.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The biggest struggle has been to train or educate the clients to believe in a good hair system application and that it can be as natural as they want! Make them sure that it will not fell out walking on the street or anything like it. It is all about a good job so they can appreciate it and believe in it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am Barber specialized in Man Hair Replacement. I am known for the Instagram videos where I show what I can do wearing and putting on a hairpiece customized to my client’s needs. Mostly for the perfect front hairline, making them more attractive for the younger man between 24 to 45 years old. What I am more proud of is to make the young crowd believe in my work and bring my clients back their confidence and self-stem; I’m very proud where my Brand Procapilar stands now!
What sets me apart from others is the art I can do with the PROCAPILAR technique and be myself completely honest to my clients and followers.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
I have learned that a good artist needs a good team to be successful. I could never have done it alone.
