Today we’d like to introduce you to Charles Hazlett and Matt Walsh.
Rok Brgr in South Miami is the second of four RokBrgr locations in the tri-county area for the JEY Hospitality Group, which has 7 concepts and 9 restaurants/bars, their first Rok Brgr was in Downtown Fort Lauderdale 7 years ago and the Miami location is over 5 years old. They also own and operate TacoCraft, Pizza Craft, Public House, Apothecary, Mercado Negro and Proper Sandwich, they have other concepts and projects in the pipeline for 2018 such as a new bar concept and rooftop lounge.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Like all hospitality groups, we prefer to call the struggles as challenges to continue to evolve our menus, our service and locations, and stay at the cusp of what our public and customers want out of their dining experience and entertainment.

Co-founded the company and oversee all financial aspects and growth of JEY Hospitality and its brands and Matts role is Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy, our CEO is Marc Falsetto and he co-founded the company.
What has been the proudest moment of your career so far?
We are most proud of having created a company that provides over 400 jobs locally and has a culture that we are very proud of, that is the most satisfying thing to us.
