Today we’d like to introduce you to Cassandra Andreu.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
A few years ago I asked for a DSLR for Christmas and started taking photos of my friends as a hobby. After several photo shoots, my friends begged me until I opened up a social media page because they argued that if they loved my work, many others would too. As an elementary teacher I felt it would be too much to handle, but here I am now. Working towards opening up a full-time photography studio but working with the outdoors until life permits.
Please tell us about your art.
I love taking pictures of the special milestones you want to cherish forever. My favorite times to freeze are little children who look cute at every angle. I try working with families to incorporate different ideas that they like into their photo session. From my work, I hope you realize that you don’t need everything photoshopped and you should learn to love yourself.
As an artist, how do you define success and what quality or characteristic do you feel is essential to success as an artist?
As an artist, I feel that success comes from hard work. Success is not always about wealth but in creating happiness for others. I think it’s important that my clients feel comfortable and confident when working with me.
