Today we’d like to introduce you to Carlos Marin.
Carlos, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Ever since I was a child, I have had an eye for detail and creativity, but not until late 2000 in my home town of Cabimas, Venezuela did I find my true passion for floral arrangement designing. The different colors and styles of flowers are what always drew my attention towards them. What started as a personal hobby, making floral arrangements is what I would become known for years later. I started making floral arrangements for my own home, then for friends and family. In early 2001, I was given the opportunity to showcase my trade for a very upscale wedding.
Shortly after, I found myself working on many social events not only in my home town but all over Venezuela. In 2015 due to the Government regime in Venezuela, I had to leave the place I had called home for nearly all my life. After arriving in what would be my new home, Miami, FL I once again I had to prove to others my abilities and passion. Through friends and other industry professionals, I was able to work alongside well-known designers and florists on different types of events. I quickly learned what trends the local clientele was looking for and started to focus my attention on that. As trends continue to change nearly every day, I am excited to see what my next venture would be!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
First is to emigrate in the US. The English language was also a part that nobody knew about my work and of course, he didn’t have the money to start the business.

It is a company of flower designs, terrariums, preserved roses, landscaped gardens, Figurines Art. I am known for preparing the most beautiful and unique weddings in its designs. Pleasing my clients according to their requirements.
I am proud of my company because it took me a lot of effort to build it and when I do a job I see in the face of my clients how grateful they are with my work. Personalized attention, responsibility and unique creations have distinguished me from others.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define my success as the perseverance that I have had and I surrender the belief in God. And I seek to be unique, not to emit.
