Meet Cam Watson of The Healing Balm Holistic Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cam Watson.

Cam Watson

Hi Cam, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Cam Watson, and I have been walking the road of entrepreneurship since 2013. What began as a side hustle to supplement my income as a paralegal quickly turned into a decade-long pursuit of purpose, perseverance, and personal growth. From being a Mary Kay beauty consultant, selling Organo Gold coffee, to hustling in direct sales with Herbalife, and building my own fitness brand with M2Fitness/BodyCAM Fitness, I’ve been in the trenches of product pitching, personal development, and entrepreneurial pivoting for over a decade.

My transition to full-time entrepreneurship came in 2020 during the height of the pandemic, a season that tested not only my grit but my identity. As a mother of two, I initially set out to design fitness apparel for women like me: mothers who were battling insecurity in their postpartum bodies. That vision opened the door for me to become a certified personal trainer, which then led to my deeper calling in massage therapy and holistic recovery. Today, I am the founder and owner of The Healing Balm Holistic Wellness, a thriving wellness practice that specializes in chronic pain recovery and premium sports massage therapy.

I am also the creator of THB Recovery Oil for Joint Pain & Muscle Tension, a product developed from scratch through trial, error, and persistence. I have learned through failed bulk orders, branded water bottles, resistance bands, and inventory mistakes, yet and still, every challenge refined my business acumen and resilience. I am a serial entrepreneur who has served everyday mothers and elite clientele alike. Including an NFL athlete, Yasir Abdullah of the Jacksonville Jaguars to Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child and other high-profile clientele and athletes. I know what it means to chase invoices and know what it means to attract high-ticket clients who respect your value.

But beyond business, I am a mother navigating co-parenting, balance, and leadership with intentionality and grace. My story includes healing co-parenting relationships and creating a united front to raise children across blended households. It includes being both a ministry leader and marketplace leader, committed to showing up with integrity, faith, and transparency. I speak to the entrepreneur who’s tired of pivoting. I speak to the mother who feels torn between her role as a mother and her passions and calling. I speak to the dreamer discouraged by closed doors.

My message is simple: the “no’s” are not the end, they’re just the necessary detours to the “yes.” You don’t have to wait to be perfect to start. Just start, and trust that the journey itself will teach you everything you need to know.
At 36 years old, with a life full of setbacks, surprises, and supernatural grace, I offer a raw, relatable, and results-driven voice for this generation of leaders, especially women, mothers, and multi-passionate entrepreneurs who are ready to keep building.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
A “smooth road” is what sold us into building an empire, however the reality is, anything worth building, you will experience bumps and pitfalls. I would say that the struggles that I have come up against would be teaching people the importance of holistic wellness because unless you already understand it’s value, and the process, you won’t understand its need to implement it into your daily routine. Massage therapy is more than just a “good gift idea,” it is an ancient practice that dates as far back as Egyptian times. Massage therapy activates your parasympathetic nervous system which in turn takes you out of fight or flight and into your body’s natural healing process. The way our bodies were designed to be.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The Healing Balm is known for chronic pain recovery and specializes in teaching individuals the importance of taking care of their mind body and spirit. What people should know about The Healing Balm is that we’re not just another massage practice. Yes, we specialize in advanced recovery services, sports massage, cupping therapy, stretch therapy, myofascial release, lymphatic detox sauna therapy, and even recovery oils, but what truly sets us apart is our holistic approach.

Our mission is bigger than simply relieving tension for the moment. We’re here to help people become whole, mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. At The Healing Balm, we teach our clients that their bodies already have natural healing properties within them. Our role is to activate and support that process, so they can live more optimal, pain-free, and balanced lives.

Whether we’re working with a professional athlete, a corporate team, or someone dealing with chronic pain, we customize every session with the goal of long-term recovery, not just temporary relief. We believe wellness isn’t just about the body, it’s about alignment in every part of your being. And that’s the heart of what makes The Healing Balm different

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
What I have learned along the way is: the “no’s” are not the end, they’re just the necessary detours to the “yes.” You don’t have to wait to be perfect to start.
