Meet Beau Million of Million Reflections in Fort Lauderdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Beau Million.

Beau, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
At a very young age I would wash cars at the local car dealership that my dad worked at. As a young boy, it was such a thrill to be able to work around my dad and just be around cars! Fast forward to my early 20s I started working at car dealerships as a vendor doing minor cosmetic repairs. Hubcaps, paint touch up, pinstripes as well as windshield chip repair. I began to increase my knowledge and I moved to product sales where I learned the Detailing product industry and how companies begin to work. One week before my wedding in March 2018, I officially started my business full-time and have been fully involved ever since!

Has it been a smooth road?
No business starts off with a smooth road. You can have all the connections in the world, but there will still be hurdles and obstacles that will cause you to lose sleep at night.
More specifically for me since I was starting up a business in an industry that was oversaturated by people who undercut the market slashing the value and image of what a true detailer is. Trying to make a name for my company, as well as upholding my integrity was such a hard process to undergo yet still worthwhile. The first thing that most companies struggle with at first is finances. Your first month or two in business is always amazing because your inner circle of connections support in more ways than one. Once you exhaust your inner circle, you are down to nothing and quickly have to learn the importance of customer acquisition. Acquiring customers at first was a hard obstacle for me to overcome. To expound more on that, on month two, that lack of movement in my business was causing strain not just in my finances, but my marriage as well. My wife is my biggest supporter, but even with that our marriage wasn’t going to be flowers and daisies if something didn’t change. Thankfully something changed, I changed…
Not only that but me being an extroverted person that finds joy in serving people, I want to make everyone happy. I always enjoyed serving everyone’s needs. But unfortunately in this business, that is impossible. It has led to some unfortunate relationships that have gone sour because people wouldn’t respect my space and boundaries, causing me to go through tough seasons.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Million Reflections – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Million reflections is a luxury automotive detailing company that specializes in all aspects of automotive detailing. Offering everything from ceramic coatings, to deep interior steam cleaning as well as engine bay detailing.
Customers time and time again compliment my work once they look at their paint and notice their reflection. I constantly hear “wow it looks brand new.” At first I thought they were just saying that. But as time went on, and word of mouth began to spread, I would hear people compliment the work I did on their friends or families cars, which caused them to call me!
One of the things I pride myself in is the vast knowledge that I have obtained throughout the years of dedicated study of my craft. I am not just a jack of all trades detailer. I am thoroughly proficient as well as efficient in all aspects of Detailing and am very confident in my abilities. I have taken time and flown across the country to study and receive certifications from various companies such as 3D International, P&S Double Black, Flex Polishers, Buff & Shine Pads, Glassparency, and many more to come… I also pride myself in the fact that my company donates finances and support to disaster relief all around the world. Million Reflections is a detailing company, but detailing is the avenue in which we can prepare ourselves to walk in our fullest potential to be world changers.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I love most about our city is the diversity amongst us. In high school you couldn’t say there was any predominant Nationality. That diversity has caused us to be one of the most well-rounded cities in all of the country, and dare I say the world. I have tasted some of the finest cuisine’s from many various countries all in the heart of our city. I have had conversations with People from countries that I may never visit in my lifetime but because of my conversation with them, I feel like I have visited because I got to learn about their culture. The city is a melting pot that I hope always remains the way it is.
What do I dislike the most???
… I would have to laughingly say the traffic
