Today we’d like to introduce you to Arianne “OM” Traverso.
Arianne Om (Ari) is a yogini, entrepreneur and supporter of dreams leading a movement of yogis to embrace both spiritual wellness and financial wellness. It is through this sacred principle that she teaches yoga teachers how to create sustainable businesses that positively impact the world. She is known as a quick thinking, solution-based yogini, a boon to her clients.

She believes that if all individuals gave a little bit more towards making a change, the world would become a better place. A philanthropist at heart, Ari’s ultimate desire to save the planet and make other full of joy. She’s also the owner of The Yoga Expo Ft. Lauderdale, Florida’s largest yoga conference and trade show. Her ability to step into leadership has also helped more people benefit from her connections and her role as the President of The Greater Miami Holistic Chamber of Commerce allows her to serve in a larger way.
To Ari, there is really nothing more exciting than finding passion and being free to travel and work from anywhere, which is one of the main reasons she is so excited and honored to have created Bizzy Yogi. Her business serves as an online educational platform for creative gypsy souls like her; helping them find their voice and grow their business so they can create a larger impact on the world.
Ari’s Story
Ari was born in Peru, during one of the scariest periods of terrorism that the country had ever seen. These trying times led Ari’s family to make the decision to move to the United States, specifically Miami, Florida, to give their family a better quality of life. As a child, she was constantly full of energy, childlike passion and seemed determined to do whatever she wanted, and was determined to succeed. That passion only grew and grew as she aged, setting the foundation for the career she has built today.
She now considers herself a ‘Miami girl at heart’ and enjoys surrounding herself with people of all kinds of different cultures and races, feeling at home and inspired in the company of others. Committed to finding her own voice and niche, Ari became the first AcroYoga teacher in the Southeast United States and is currently one of a small handful of teachers with the highest level of AcroYoga certifications. This propagated her career and helped her have the opportunity to travel the world, leading retreats immersions, training and succeeding as a program creator for AcroYoga International.
This was ultimately her motivation to creating the program – seeing so many yoga teachers struggle financially and desiring world travel and financial well-being made her realized she had much more to contribute to the world; teaching a new kind of entrepreneurship. Her experience as an international yogi, studio owner, teacher trainer, writer and program director has proven that you don’t have to fall into social stereotypes and can earn as satisfying living by following your dreams.
Has it been a smooth road?
The road has not always been smooth and fortunately, I see the bumps and dips as tests on how to navigate through life with resilience and ninja powers. Most of my entrepreneurial ventures have fortunately been supported by my friends and family which really helps when the low moments have hit. Even to this day I still struggle with trying to vanquish ego and stay humble when opportunities to be in the limelight have come. It’s the fear of being judged that made me play small and getting over that is a daily challenge.
My biggest teacher was when I co-owned a successful yoga studio in Miami called TRIO Yoga, which I went into knowing not much about business, but having a huge heart and vision. It showed me how important that vision was and how if you don’t have clear communication with your team, your advisors, things can go wrong and be demoralizing. These oh-crap moments helped me see my gaps and opportunities to reorganize myself and feel strong in the face of harsh realities. What’s super cool though is the power of intention and the immense support I felt by my parents, peers and coaches. I owe all this to them!
We’d love to hear more about your business.
Bizzy Yogi as I stated before is a platform for yoga teachers and holistic entrepreneurial women to find their glow and turn that into a business. As a serial entrepreneur, I have made the mistakes that cost me a ton of time and money, which is my goal to help others skip over.
My background is fashion photography and graphic design makes me an expert in branding and image, so I focus a lot into consulting how your brand is you and through marketing, specifically, sales funnels and digital growth, I help these bad-ass ladies shine their gifts a lot brighter. I like to see myself as a cut through the noise and focus on what’s truly you and how you can be a bigger beacon to the world. I make the drop ripple into the world.
With The Yoga Expo. I offer these amazing teachers a platform to not only gain a larger audience but also be featured on large social media platforms. The Yoga Expo is also a great way for yoga lovers to experience world-renowned and local teachers and a taste of consciously created companies and vendors. I’m honored to be able to help other teachers launch their careers as gaining an audience of people who love you is key in holistic and wellness based industries. What sets us apart is the type of conference we are, low price point, high volume of teachers and experts and a lot of love.
