Today we’d like to introduce you to Anne Caroline Valtin.
Anne Caroline, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
With a background in event and project management, I saw the need to develop a model that would be socially impact-driven: Anne Caroline, Inc. was founded in 2014.
We are a social impact strategists and philanthropic advisors. Through events, community engagement and development, we serve non-profit organizations and businesses with a passion for addressing social challenges.
We believe in the power of individuals and groups coming together for a greater good and do so by bridging the gap between individuals, businesses & charitable/non-profit organizations.

All kidding aside, as a purpose-driven company, keeping our “eyes on the goal” has been our guiding star.
When you embark on a new journey, it is important to determine your values early on to make sure you adopt projects that fit with your vision. Our values of integrity, trust, and commitment to purpose have truly assisted us in staying on track.
My biggest lesson: never assume that you know best. Answers to social challenges often come from the most unexpected places.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Anne Caroline Inc. story. Tell us more about the business.
I consider myself a social impact strategist and philanthropic advisor. In short, I work on projects that will have the greatest social impact in the community/world and advise donors on how to best realize their envisioned impact. This is commonly done through partnerships with existing charities/non-profit organizations as well as through special events, community engagement, and project development.
Serving as Executive Director of an event called the Great Charity Challenge presented by Fidelity Investments® (GCC) for the last eight years has perhaps been my greatest joy and accomplishment. This single-day event just celebrated its 10th anniversary and has made a big impact in Palm Beach County (FL). To date, the GCC has distributed over $13.5 million to 240 local non-profit organizations. Working directly with hundreds of non-profits yearly has given me the opportunity to gain a true understanding of local/community needs and the means available to solve these. Moving away from “philanthropy” as we once thought of it, where people came in from the outside with solutions to “others’ problems”, I have witnessed firsthand the significance of empowering local actors.
Anne Caroline, Inc. is a bit of a “boutique” business in the sense that we tailor to anyone with a passion for social change. Having worked with different individuals, families, businesses, and non-profits give us access to a broad range of resources and knowledge. If you have an idea outside the box, we love to work creatively and thrive on identifying sustainable solutions to social challenges.
Tell us about your favorite and least favorites things about our city.
With a strong presence in Wellington, FL (Palm Beach County), I absolutely LOVE working with equestrians and their families. Actually, athletes in general; they have a true understanding of passion, hard work, and dedication. These traits are something we cherish when it comes to addressing social challenges: you have to be passionate about what you are working on, be willing to put in the work and be dedicated to the cause.
The perfect winter weather, beautiful views and friendly people of the County are something I am also personally very grateful for.
The fact that there is 13.4% of the population living below poverty line (per https://datausa.io/profile/geo/palm-beach-county-fl) is a hard statistic to take in. I am however optimistic that this can change as I personally work with individuals, organizations, and businesses who believe in adopting sustainable solutions to better the lives of Palm Beach County residents.
