Meet Anhelina Pohorielova of Miami

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anhelina Pohorielova.

Hi Anhelina, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I began my career in the beauty industry in 2018, motivated by a passion for creativity and high standards. After graduating with a diploma in cosmetology and aesthetics in Kyiv, I continued my professional growth and obtained my U.S. license, which opened the door to international opportunities.

I became a certified BSSC Level 3 specialist, created my own registered technique “ARTFORMULA,” and started teaching it to other professionals. Along the way, I achieved 1st place at the Global Talent Beauty Cup 2025 in two categories, and I also designed professional brush cases used by Team USA in championship preparation.

In 2025, I was honored to be invited as an international judge and to represent Team USA at the OMC Hairworld World Championship in Paris. Today, I combine artistry, education, and innovation to inspire professionals and raise beauty industry standards worldwide.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road to the world championships is filled with obstacles. Preparing for such a prestigious stage requires countless hours of training, refining techniques to perfection, and meeting the highest expectations. Representing National Team USA brings pride and also great responsibility, as every performance reflects not only personal skill but also national standards. These challenges shaped me, teaching resilience, focus, and how to turn goals into real achievements.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a licensed beauty professional in the U.S., specializing in makeup artistry and aesthetics. My work focuses on creative and competition makeup, as well as eyebrow architecture. I am the author of a registered makeup technique called “ARTFORMULA,” which I also teach to other professionals.

I am proud to represent Team USA at the OMC Hairworld World Championship 2025 in Paris and to be invited as a judge at international beauty competitions. I also developed professional brush cases that were used by the team in championship preparation.

What sets me apart is the combination of artistry, education, and innovation. I am not only a practicing artist but also a mentor and creator, committed to raising industry standards and inspiring the next generation of professionals.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I believe that luck alone cannot build a career, but it can open the right doors. For me, luck was meeting mentors, clients, and opportunities at the right time. Still, success came only through discipline, hard work, and consistency. I see luck as a chance, but turning that chance into real results has always depended on my effort.
