Today we’d like to introduce you to Angolina Amores.
Hi Angolina, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started The Luxe Galore four years ago in my own apartment in the heart of Washington Heights. I’ve always loved interior design and so I designed my apartment in a way that made me feel like I was already living my dream life. After posting pictures online, I received numerous messages from people asking if they could take pictures at my place. And the rest was history. I became so booked out to the point where I had to move out and find another place to live. Soon I opened a second NYC location but four months after its opening, it got burned down. As upset as I was, I chose not to give up and that same day, I started looking for warehouses in Miami. After building out the Miami location, it rapidly became the top-rated themed production studio. It’s now become home to many artists, celebrities, producers, directors, photographers, models, and more!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The biggest struggle was when my second NYC location burned down. It was a tragedy because I haven’t broken even at that point and when the time it burned down was when it started becoming profitable and consistently booked. But I believe that everything happens for a reason and it propelled me to expanding the business to bigger locations.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success is being able to live your dream life through your passion and what you’re good at. Being able to make a living out of what makes you feel fulfilled and happy.
